Yes. A standard call-out fee applies within the Rockhampton service area. Travel outside the standard service area may attract an additional charge based on distance. All applicable charges will be discussed before your booking is confirmed.
No. Submitting the online form sends us your booking request and vehicle details. We’ll review the request and contact you to confirm availability, pricing and a suitable booking time.
Yes. We can attend your home, workplace or another suitable location, provided the vehicle is parked on a safe, firm and reasonably level surface with sufficient working space around it.
Roadside assistance is available subject to location, safety and availability. If the vehicle is in a dangerous position or obstructing traffic, contact emergency or towing services first.
We provide mobile servicing, diagnostics and repairs for private vehicles and light-vehicle fleets. Please include the vehicle’s registration, year, make and model with your enquiry so we can confirm whether the work is suitable for mobile attendance.
Yes. We provide mechanical fault-finding and vehicle electrical diagnostics for batteries, starting systems, charging systems, lighting, wiring and related faults. Some specialised repairs may require referral to another provider.
Many services, diagnostics and common repairs can be completed onsite. Some jobs may require specialist equipment, workshop facilities or additional parts. We’ll advise you after reviewing the vehicle and requested work.
Yes. Parts can be sourced once the vehicle and required work have been confirmed. Depending on the job, a deposit or approval may be required before parts are ordered.
Electronic and card payment options are available. Payment terms and expected costs will be confirmed before work begins.
Please make sure the vehicle is accessible, remove unnecessary items from the work area and park on a safe, firm and level surface. Have the keys, service book and wheel-lock key available where required.
Swabey’s Mechanical operates by appointment from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Breakdown attendance outside these hours is subject to availability.
